Next we headed to Laguna Limoncocha, with our guide Hector.

We spent much of our time with Hector hiking through mud in the rainforest to look for wildlife. We shared our guide with a group of Latvian documentary makers.
Hector built a school on his island for local school children. He also have several monkeys on his island he has purchased from the market. He releases them on his island and has a very successful breeding program in hopes to releasing monkeys in other parts of Ecuador.
