Today we hopped on a bus to take us back to the Costa Rican boarder. The bus
was freezing again but we were better prepared. We slept almost the whole way
and arrived at the southern and main boarder crossing town of Paso Canoas. It
would be very easy to accidentally just walk across the boarder skipping both
Panama and Costa Rica's immigration stations. These buildings, especially early
in the morning when there is not a giant line of people to distinguish them,
blend in to the town very well. But we found them and filed the appropriate
paperwork (we think).
We caught a few more buses and a ferry and ended up in Puerto Jimenez on the Oso Peninsula. We came here mainly to give us access to Corcovado National Park which National Geographic Magazine claims is the "most biologically intense place on Earth."
The National Park is two hours away down the worst road in Costa Rica (that says a lot), and we had already traveled enough for today so we just decided to relax for the afternoon.
Our room here is very nice here and there are iguanas outside our window.
Sorry no photos today.
