Day Two

My mom dropped us off at LAX for our morning flight. We had a layover in Atlanta where were told a plane ran off the runway in San Jose and the whole airport was closed. This did not delay our flight though. We took off and they told us they had enough fuel to circle for awhile (if needed) or they could just take us somewhere else. The flight from Atlanta to San Jose was about 10% or 15% full. The flight crew told us each passenger could have their own row (3 seats) to lay down and sleep if they wanted. I have never seen a plane that empty. With the layover the flight took about 10 hours and we caught a taxi to our hotel (a hostel in San Jose). We were told if we wake up at 5:30 we could catch a tour on Tuesday. The last photo is us in our room after our day on the plane.
