Lover's Point - Monterey Bay California - 10/7/06

Good News Everyone! On Saturday, October 7th, 2006, I asked Shelley Stiles to marry me and she said yes! Shelley and I have been dating for more than six years and very excited to spend the rest of our lives together. Shelley and I were diving near Lover's Point in Monterey Bay, California. This was Shelley's first cold water dive and she was a little nervous. I was nervous as well, but for a different reason. I had secretly stashed a laminated sign shaped like a pumpkin in my scuba gear and when the time was right, I took the sign out and asked Shelley to marry me. She signaled back yes. Shelley was very surprised and we are both very happy. Later that day, we reenacted the event during another dive and photographed it. We then went to out to a wonderful romantic dinner in Carmel By The Sea.
