I was walking home from school today after a project and I saw something crawling under the stairs at Mustang Village (the apartment complex I live in). I looked under and it was a little bat. I was not sure if it was sick or needed help, so I carefully picked him up and carried him to my apartment. I wanted to check him out, but I had to finish a project and email it in within the next hour so I placed him a box with a blanket. I finished my project and went to check on him. He was gone so I started searching the area, suddenly I saw him flying in circles near the ceiling around my apartment. He landed and caught him. He seemed to be doing okay so I took a few photos and them let him go once it got dark. I am still not sure why he was on the ground in the first place. (in the photos I am wearing gloves because bats are mammals and can transmit rabies, a fatal disease in humans)
