Today was our Jeepney Journey. We rented a Jeepney for the entire day with Duane and Brent to see the island of Mindoro. We rode into town and negotiated rates with jeepney drivers. We finally found a driver willing to take us everywhere we wanted to go and for a good rate. Jeepneys originally were made of parts from the Jeeps left by Americans after WWII. The one we rented could easily hold 12 people (not including the ones that sit on the roof). In short, the 6 hour journey took us through small towns, muddy jungle roads, and tight cliff roads. We visited the beautiful Tamaraw Falls, Ponderosa Golf Course, White Beach, and finally Talipanan Point. The weather was beautiful and we got some great photographs. For lunch we ate at the German place in Puerto Galera.
