Today we were picked up at 6:40 to begin our tour, which started at a floating market. We took a long-tail boat through a series of canals until we reached the market. The market is filled with boats powered by women selling foods and merchandise and fighting for the best positions in the market. At the market Shelley was approached by dozens of students who asked her questions for their English assignment. Next, we headed to the Elephant Village where Shelley and I spent all our time with a baby elephant named JoJo. Shelley even got a massage from the elephant. Next, we headed to the Cobra show, which was incredible. Shelley and I both got to pet a cobra and we got to watch and mongoose fight a cobra. Next, we headed to a wood craft shop where artist hand carved amazing pieces or art and furniture. Finally, we headed to gem and jewelry shop with many beautiful pieces and several awesome saltwater aquariums. The best aquarium was a 800 gallon tank featuring 5 baby black-tip reef sharks.
