Day Fourteen

We woke up to a fantastic breakfast and then meet our guide who would take us through the jungle. She introduced us to the "Jungle Man" who would be cooking for us later. We started our hike by crossing a river on a bamboo raft. The rainforest is very muddy but beautiful. There are butterflies everywhere. We walked up a hill to a covered area (all the structures here a made of bamboo and tree leaves) and met up with Jungle Man again. Our guide and the Jungle Man taught us how to cook a traditional Thai meal on an open bamboo fire. The food was great. While we were eating, it started to rain very hard. Even with the canopy covering above we still got soaked walking back to camp. We showered and headed back to Phuket for a relaxing night.
