Kendall Roberg has been teaching Awesome Animals for 13 years. He has taught with the MEP Program through Lincoln Elementary School PTA, Glenoaks Plus for Glenoaks Elementary in Glendale, and hundreds of private shows and presentations for schools, scout troops, and even birthday parties. Kendall's love for animals began at a young age with his pet frogs, snakes, chickens, and pigeons. As he grew he studied animals through books, observation, and travel and soon began teaching others about the wonderful creatures of the earth. He has taken classes through Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, UCSD, Los Angeles Valley College, and Crescenta Valley High School to further his animal knowledge. His teaching and leadership skills were tested as he served as Crescenta Valley High School's Student Body President in 2001. He also worked for many years at the wonderful pet store The Fish Cove, in La Crescenta. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Statistics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is a registered PADI Divemaster. Kendall loves the outdoors and spends much of free time bird watching and scuba diving. |
